The Women in the World Summit is set to return in April with another starry lineup.

Oprah Winfrey, Stacey Abrams, Brie Larson, Ashley Judd, Jill and Faith Soloway, Cindy McCain, Adwoa Aboah and Wanda Sykes, among others, are slated to appear at the 10th annual live media event, Women in the World announced Thursday. At the event, which is set to run April 10-12 at New York’s Lincoln Center, Winfrey will be delivering the Summit’s keynote address, wherein she will answer the event’s guiding question: “Can women save the world?”

Other topics that will be discussed in the event’s live conversations include moving the #MeToo movement forward, fighting misinformation, keeping journalism alive, combating threats to the planet, advocating for same-sex love, resisting authoritarian and patriarchal powers and advancing women leaders.

For the first time, the summit will also feature a panel on comedy in today’s cultural climate featuring Sykes, Rachel Bloom, Phoebe Robinson, Judy Gold and Amber Ruffin.

“This year’s Summit is such a milestone event with our 10th anniversary; it is clearer than ever that the mission has met its moment,” Women in the World and Tina Brown Live Media founder and CEO Tina Brown said in a statement. “The seeds we’ve planted as far back as 2010 in a small midtown theater have exploded into a global community of women of power and purpose.”

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should know that Hudson Yards is finally open in New York. Related’s mixed-use development of luxury offerings officially opens today, and celebrated its debut last night with a massive party spanning the new shopping mall, the Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards.

The design industry has poured years of hard work into Hudson Yards, and the development’s star talents turned out to celebrate the grand finale of the long-awaited project. David Rockwell, who is behind the interiors of 15 Hudson Yards and the upcoming Shed, was in attendance, as well as Tony Ingrao, responsible for the interiors for 35 Hudson Yards, who came out in a fashion-forward suit. Thomas Heatherwick, the designer behind the Vessel monument, posed for photos in front of his creation.

Numerous interior design talents contributed to the Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards. The Snarkitecture principals toasted their new Snark Park, plus their interiors for fashion retailer Forty Five Ten’s store. The sprawling Mercado food hall was a collaboration between the New York–based firm ICRAVE and Barcelona’s Capella Garcia Arquitectura, while CetraRuddy designed the interiors for the Queensyard restaurant. The design industry turned out in droves to celebrate their peers’ impressive openings and get a sneak peek at the luxurious spaces.

Opening night of Hudson Yards was big and busy. But that was to be expected for the elaborate — and highly anticipated — new retail, dining, and art destination on Manhattan’s west side. The multi-billion dollar development (also home to corporate offices and residential spaces) is a new neighborhood for the city, and its biggest face-lift in years. Naturally the night drew some big names, Anne Hathaway and Maggie Gyllenhaal among them, curious about the results.

“This area has been very weird and confusing in that it’s always been desolate,” Coco Rocha mused of the new locale, which was built atop the old train yards between 10th and 12th Avenues. “[Given] the history of this city you’d think that there would have already been sky-rises here. [But] I’m excited for the neighborhood… I think they really did a fantastic job.”

Prosecco and tequila flowed freely Thursday evening at dozens of bars inside the packed Shops at Hudson Yards, the new $2 billion mall that opened to the public this week on Manhattan’s far west side.

Early in the night, on the first floor of the shopping center’s star anchor — New York City’s first Neiman Marcus — the man behind it all stood near the Christian Louboutin section and watched as Instagram influencers snapped selfies and caterers passed out tiny tacos and bite-sized ramen burgers. Britney Spears’s “Toxic” was blasting in the background.

“It’s not about a building. It’s not about the retail. It’s a lifestyle.” said Stephen Ross, chairman and founder of Related Cos., which is developing the $25 billion Hudson Yards project with Oxford Properties Group.

The invitation-only event drew thousands of Instagram influencers, fashion designers, models, buttoned-up real estate executives and some celebrities — Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda and actresses Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Even Senator Chuck Schumer made an appearance.

With a guest list rumored to have climbed past 10,000 attendees, the celebration marking the opening of Hudson Yards, on Manhattan’s West Side, may not have been the most exclusive ticket in town, but it was certainly where everyone wanted to be.

Spanning a staggering 18 million square feet full of shimmering glass, steel, and polished marble, it’s nothing short of an entirely new neighborhood that, to most New Yorkers, seems to have sprung up overnight. In reality, it’s been more than a decade in the making.

“I go to a lot of trade shows at the Javits Center over here and have spent hours walking around; my fondest memories of this place are just lugging around catalogs,” Dylan Lauren remarked, marveling at the soaring interiors before moving on to welcome guests to her latest outpost of Dylan’s Candy Bar. Billy Porter chose to phrase the same sentiment a bit more succinctly. “This was no man’s land until a couple of years ago!” he said.

Eric Rutherford was in a properly enthusiastic state of mind Thursday night for the long-awaited official opening of Hudson Yards, which drew revelers by the thousands for a special preview of the mall.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were reportedly there, having snuck in past the cameras to hole up inside Milo’s on the fifth floor. Anne Hathaway, Billy Porter, Jordan Roth, Andy Cohen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dylan Sprouse and more joined in to explore.

On its opening night, the glittering new mall at Hudson Yards resembled more of a circus than the Far West Side’s newest retail destination.

A marching band, tap dancers, a capella singers and other performance artists served as entertainment for opening night of the megadevelopment, which was nearly 15 years in the making. Liza Minnelli serenaded the crowd gathered in Neiman Marcus with a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”

Related Companies CEO Jeff Blau was seen early in the night making the rounds, receiving congratulations for hitting the milestone at the $25 billion project his company developed with Oxford Properties Group.

Industry power players including GFP Real Estate’s Jeff Gural and Jane Gural-Senders, Two Trees Management’s Jed Walentas, developer Harry Macklowe, L&L Holding’s Rob Lapidus were among the thousands of guests — making the night the largest gathering of real estate figures outside the Real Estate Board of New York’s annual gala.
