For the third year, Veuve Clicquot welcomed 3,000 Miamians, celebrities and influencers to  beautiful Museum Park to celebrate the international festivities of Carnaval. The glamorous crowd enjoyed a day of  traditional Carnaval entertainment, some of Miami’s favorite food trucks and champagne, in support of the event’s beneficiary, Pérez Art Museum Miami. Always a star-studded event, Veuve Clicquot Carnaval was hosted by Adriana Lima and attended by Ana de Armas, Eiza  Gonzalez, Karolína Kurková, Daniela Botero, Tyson Beckford, Eugenio Siller, Rocky Barnes, Francisco Lachowski, Gabriel Coronel, Natalie Suarez, Emanuela de Paula, Adam Gallagher, Asiyami Gold, Amelia Ochoa, Elisa Ochoa, Christian Bendek, Harley Viera Newton, DJ Rascal and many more. Attendees enjoyed traditional Carnaval celebrations, including samba dancers, drummers, and live music, all led by the Grand Marshal Adriana Lima who invited guests to celebrate and make the day memory. Celebrations began with a parade of samba dancers, capoeira performers, and batucada drummers, leading Adriana to the stage for a festive dance number.

On Monday, November 21st Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation celebrated 20 years of funding lifesaving research with another successful night that raised nearly $3.7M! The gala featured a packed pre-show red carpet with A-listers such as Hugh Jackman & Deborra-lee Furness, Dee & Tommy Hilfiger, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Sir Bob Geldof, Jonathan Batiste, Montel Williams, Donna Karan and many more. The evening honored the pioneering cancer research of Dr. Carl June of the University of Pennsylvania & also a member of the Foundation’s Medical Advisory Board. 11-year-old Emily Whitehead, who was cured of her cancer by Dr. June, expressed her gratitude to him and urged other children like her not to give up hope. Sir Bob Geldof quieted the crowd with a moving introduction of his dear friend, Australian philanthropist Heloise Pratt AM & Kris Jenner teared up during her speech about her ex-husband, Robert, who was honored in memoriam after losing his battle to cancer at an early age. Sarah, Duchess of York introduced President & Co-Founder, Denise Rich & presented her with a special gift. Gala Chairs Camilla Olsson, Lorraine Schwartz & Ofira Sandberg drew accolades from the crowd. Lorraine also served as a Gala Sponsor along with Le Metier de Beaute and Porsche.

The 2016 Angel Ball featured some big names and glam looks on Monday night.

The charity event, which raises money for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, took place at the famed Cipriani Wall Street in downtown Manhattan, and featured appearances by Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, their mother Kris Jenner, CeeLo Green, Lily Donaldson, Dorinda Medley and more.

This holiday season Barneys is highlighting the ever-needed presence of love, peace, and joy. We’re thrilled to unveil the Love Peace Joy Project, our 2016 holiday campaign, with windows embodying each of these themes in both our New York flagship locations.

The windows encapsulate the work of some of today’s biggest names in art and entertainment, including visual and performance artist Nick Cave, contemporary artist Rob Pruitt, artist collective Studio Job, mixed media artist Ebony G. Patterson, and Trey Parker and Matt Stone of Comedy Central’s South Park. Each artist collaborated with Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman and the Barneys visual team to bring to life their interpretation of one of the three perennial values.

At the Glamour Women of the Year awards on Monday night, the elephant in the room quickly took center stage.

“We all thought we would be standing here under very different circumstances,” said Tracee Ellis Ross, the night’s host, who encouraged guests to “let out a primal sound” in reaction to last week’s shocking election results. Ms. Ross, dressed in a silk Fendi nightgown to reflect her “vulnerability,” screeched, rolled her eyes and gagged like a poisoned Shakespearean heroine.

No doubt, the lost chance to celebrate the first female president had to be acknowledged early on at the annual event, held this year for the first time in Los Angeles. (Especially considering that Hillary Clinton won 61.5 percent of the vote in California.) But the ceremony at NeueHouse Hollywood for 400 chic attendees, most of them women, didn’t dwell on defeat.

Late last year, Phil Collins told Rolling Stone that he was “no longer officially retired” and “raring to go” after nearly a decade out of the spotlight, but he hadn’t done much to actualize that until the opening of the US Open in New York Monday night.

His brief set began with “In the Air Tonight,” featuring longtime Genesis touring guitarist Daryl Stuermer, bassist Nathan East, keyboardist Brad Cole and his 15-year-old son Nicholas on drums. Extensive nerve damage has made it nearly impossible for Phil to play drums at this point, but his skills clearly passed down to the next generation and Nicholas handles one of the most famous drum fills in rock history with ease.

Eleven talented kids will make their Arthur Ashe Stadium debuts alongside a returning “veteran” after being selected to perform patriotic songs during the 2016 US Open.

The impressive singers were given the honor after being whittled down from more than 200 performers ages 14 and under who submitted performances through a nationwide online audition as part of the US Open Casting Call. They then nailed an in-person call back in front of top music and entertainment industry judges.

Previous winners have used their US Open performances as springboards to land roles in Broadway musicals and regional productions across the country.
